About the Authors
William Leclerc
William Leclerc is from Milton, Massachusetts and is an incoming freshman at Suffolk University. He is a class of 2018 graduate of Milton High School. Continuing his education at Suffolk University, he will be majoring in Business Management. Having taken AP Microeconomics, two business classes, and financial accounting in high school, Will has a good background understanding of financial literacy and fiscal policy. Through interests like NBC's The West Wing, Netflix's The Crown, HBO's Succession, and CNN's Cuomo Prime Time, Will has heavily invested himself in both past and present politics and their effects on historical outcomes. Will cites Benjamin Graham’s “The Intelligent Investor”, and Daniel C. Goldie and Gordon S. Murray’s “The Investment Answer”, as key influences on his fiscal and investment views.
Melissa Martins
Melissa Martins is from Easton, Massachusetts, and graduated from Oliver Ames High School in 2020. She is an incoming Freshman at Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School. Melissa has been involved in her community by volunteering to help children at a local elementary school, a local dance studio and tutoring many students from low income communities. She has spent countless hours helping students and is very familiar with the public school system.
Aimee Sanchez
Aimee Sanchez is from Arvada, Colorado, and graduated from Pomona High School in 2020. She will be an incoming Freshman at Suffolk University majoring in Political Science. She has been involved in congressional student advisory committees, has advocated at a federal level for Career and Technical Education (CTE) funding, and has interned in her district representatives’ office. She has also been involved in her community by volunteering her free time to her local history museum.
